Human Rights March in AZ TODAY!
My article posted today on The Precarious.
Want to find out why Arizona is on the frontlines of a war waged on human rights? Why there are threats to freedom of religion, freedom of speech, education, healthcare, environment, water and land rights of indigenous peoples, immigrant rights and reproductive rights? Then follow the link, it is an amazing rundown, I get tears in my eyes when I read it. :(

They say women can’t play guitar as well as men. I don’t play my guitar with my fucking vagina, so what difference does it make?

Safe Boating is No Accident and Dear Rabbit at Lion’s Lair April 29th
Dear Rabbit belting out his heartfelt accordion rock. Click the pic for event or the next line!
Show at the Lion’s Lair Sunday, April 29th!
Okay, so, Safe Boating is No Accident” is a no-brainer. Denver musicians who are in other amazing Denver bands make this one up. Original, good, real music. Just go because it’s good.
Dear Rabbit is a show you will never forget from a quirky and amusing Colorado Springs accordion player and singer/songwriter.
Don’t forget to check out my incredible video of DEAR RABBIT at Bar Bar aka Carioca Cafe in Denver.

Flipper.
When I interviewed drummer Steve DePace, he told me of one of the most memorable visits of theirs to Denver.“We had a tour vehicle and had just gone across the mountains on I-70. We got all the way to the Denver parking lot, but just barely. We only had one gear left, but made it into the parking lot. Had no reverse left, it was horrible. We called a tow truck, got it towed to repair it. They took apart the rear axle and the gears were like a bowl of cornflakes. . I remember getting out of the truck and being all dizzy.”
That’s it, our mountains ripping up gears and the mile high altitude making newcomers feel lightheaded. They will be in Denver again for this, tomorrow night and Friday. Come and check it out, tickets are almost sold out. They will also be at Wax Trax during the day on Thursday:
